• 学校简介 Introduction of Hebei Zhengding High School

河北正定中学位于河北省石家庄市正定县，这是一座拥有一千多年历史，以历史文化闻名的县城。河北正定中学是河北省的重点公立学校，位列中国百强高中。学校现有两个设施齐全的校区，占地面积 33 公顷，教职工 540 余人。

Located in Zhengding County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, a county town with a history of more than one thousand years and famous for its historical culture, Hebei Zhengding High School (HZHS) is an officially-honoured key public school in Hebei Province, and it is ranked in the top 100 high school of China. The school now has two fully-equipped campuses, with an area of 33 hectares and teaching staff of over 540.

承袭于古衡阳书院，河北正定中学始建于 1902 年。多年来，正中培养了数以万计的学子，他们中的许多人都在事业上取得了成功，甚至为中国的发展做出了巨大贡献。

Inherited from ancient Hengyang Institute, HZHS was founded in 1902. Over the years, HZHS has nurtured tens of thousands of students, many of whom have achieved success in their careers, or even made great contribution to China.

自2011年起，河北正定中学开展了立体化、多层次的国际交流活动，努力营造国际化的校园氛围，拓宽师生的国际视野。

Since 2011, HZHS has carried out a dimensional, multi-layered international exchange activities, trying to create an international school atmosphere and to broaden the international vision of both teachers and students.

• 校园生活  Life in HZHS

(一)为国际交流生特别定制的时间表 Special timetable for international exchange students

  每节课 40 分钟，每两节课之间有 10 分钟的休息时间。

      Every class lasts 40 min and there is a 10-min break between every two classes.

（二）便利的学习、生活设施 Convenient learning and living facilities

      3 层楼的食堂提供品种多样的食物，还有 3 家超市、2 家水果店、2 家书店和洗衣房。

      3-floor canteen with  kinds of food, 3 grocery stores, 2 fruit shops and 2 book stores and laundry house.

      3人间宿舍配备独立卫生间和中央空调。

      The triple dormitories are equipped with en-suite bathrooms and central air-conditioning.

  教室配有智慧黑板和储物柜。

（一）课程体系 Curriculum System

根据申请者的需求，我们提供2周到16周不等的课程项目。

Depending on the needs of the applicant, we offer projects ranging from 2 weeks to 16 weeks.

通过HSK系统课程，努力提高学生汉语水平，通过入住寄宿家庭、文化考察体验等实践课程锻炼学生的汉语综合运用能力；

通过插班体验课程和学科汉语课程，让学生中国式课堂教学，促进学生将语言使用与科学学习相结合，增进与中国学生的交流，建立国际友谊；

通过中华传统文化课程让学生充分了解和体验中国传统文化；

通过运动健康课程满足学生锻炼身体、增强体质的需求；

通过科技实践课程培养学生将理论知识付诸实践的能力。

We endeavour to improve students' Chinese language proficiency through the HSK systematic curriculum, and exercise students' comprehensive Chinese language application skills through practical courses and staying in host families and cultural investigation and experience;

Through the drop-in experience course and subjects-in-Chinese courses, students are allowed to have Chinese-style classroom teaching, which promotes students to combine the use of language with scientific learning, enhances communication with Chinese students and establishes international friendship;

To enable students to fully understand and experience traditional Chinese culture through the Chinese traditional culture courses;

Satisfying students' need to exercise and enhance their physical fitness through sports and health courses;

To develop students' ability to put theoretical knowledge into practice through the science and technology practice courses.

1.HSK课程：相应等级的HSK课程

  HSK courses: HSK courses at the appropriate level

2.学科汉语课程：涵盖数学和物理、化学、生物、地理等自然科学课程

  Subject-in-Chinese Courses: covering mathematics and natural sciences such as physics, chemistry, biology and geography.

3.插班体验课程：进入高一年级班级跟班听课

  Experience course: join the senior class and study with Chinese students.

4.中国文化体验课程：中国美食、中国音乐、中国书法、中国象棋等

  Chinese Culture Experience course: Chinese food, Chinese music, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese chess, etc.

5.运动健康课程：中国武术及其他健康运动课程

  Sports and Health Courses: Chinese martial arts and other sports courses.

6.学习答疑：教师辅导与学生自主学习相结合

  Independent Study: Teachers' tutorials and students' independent learning are combined.

（三）教学保障 Teaching Guarantee

学校设有国际教育交流办公室专门管理留学生事务，配备有设施齐全的留学生专用教室和实践类课程实验室。HSK授课教师持有国际汉语教师资格证，学科汉语教师均为有国际学生授课经验的高中一线教师。

The school has an International Education and Exchange Office specialised in managing international students' affairs, and is equipped with well-equipped classrooms for international students and laboratories for practical courses. HSK teachers hold the Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages（CTCSOL）, and teachers of subject-in-Chinese are all teachers in HZHS who have experience in teaching international students.

（四）课程评价  Course Evaluation

HSK课程根据教学进度设计阶段性和总结性考核，可直到学生参加HSK考试（费用自理）。其他课程视情况采用考试或结课论文的方式进行考核。项目结束后，学校将为学生出具学习情况证明，可供转换学分使用。

HSK courses are designed for stage and summative assessment according to the teaching progress, which can be until students take the HSK examination (at their own expense). Other courses are assessed by examination or final paper as appropriate. At the end of the program, HZHS will issue a certificate of learning for students, which can be used for credit transfer.

• 申请流程    Application Process

（一）申请环节 Application Stage

1.学生提交以下材料，学校进行审核，非英语文件应附中文或英语翻译件：

   Students submit the following materials for review by the school. Non-English documents should be accompanied by Chinese or English translations:

（1）《河北正定中学国际交流生申请表》

            Application Form for Hebei Zhengding High School

（2）《SCL-90》心理测评表答卷

            SCL-90 Psychological Assessment Scale Answer Sheet

（3）学习能力证明（学历学位证书或在读学校出具的成绩单）

            Proof of learning ability (academic degree certificate or transcript issued by the school you are studying in)

（4）语言能力证明（雅思、托福等主流英语能力考试成绩、HSK等级证书等）

           Proof of language proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL and other mainstream English language proficiency exams, HSK level certificates, etc.)

（5）学生自述

           Student's self-declaration

2.学校审核申请材料，组织符合要求的学生进行网络面试。通过面试的学生提交以下材料：

   The school reviews the application materials and organises an online interview for students who meet the requirements. Students who pass the interview submit the following materials:

（1）《基础教育阶段教育机构接受外国来华学习人员确认表》要求的相关信息

            Information requested by the Confirmation Form for Elementary Stage Students Study in China

（2）本国身份证件扫描件

           Scanned copy of national identity document

（3）护照扫描件

           Scanned copy of passport

（4）六个月内的体检合格证明

          Certificate of medical examination within six months

（5）经使馆认证的监护人委托书（未满18周岁提供）

           Letter of attorney for guardian certified by the embassy (for those under 18 years old)

（6）无犯罪记录证明（满18周岁提供）

          Certificate of no criminal record (for those over 18 years old)

3.学校向通过材料审核及面试的学生发放《入学通知书》和《基础教育阶段教育机构接受外国来华学习人员确认表》。

   The school issues the Admission Letter and the Confirmation Form for Elementary Stage Students Study in China to students who have passed the material examination and interview.

（二）签证环节 Visa Stage

1.学生持《入学通知书》、《基础教育阶段教育机构接受外国来华学习人员确认表》及申请阶段提交的其他材料（具体要求咨询中华人民共和国驻各国大使馆）申请学习签X1或X2签证。X1颁发给在中国境内长期（超过180日）学习的人员；X2颁发给在中国境内短期（不超过180日）学习的人员。

   Students apply for a study visa X1 or X2 with the Admission Letter, Confirmation Form for Elementary Stage Students Study in China, and other documents submitted at the Application  Stage (Consult the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in each country for specific requirements). X1 is issued to those who study in China for a long period (more than 180 days), and X2 is issued to those who study in China for a short period (not more than 180 days).

2.学生签证通过后及时告知学校并提交签证扫描件。

   Inform the school and submit the scanned copy of the visa in time after the visa is approved.

（三）入学环节 Admission Stage

1.学生入境前参加学校组织的行前培训（线上）

    Students attend the pre-departure training organised by the school before admission(online)

2.学生持以下材料报到：

    Students report to the school with the following documents:

（1）《入学通知书》

            Admission Letter

（2）家长完成签字的《安全责任协议书》

           Agreement on Security Responsibility signed by parents

（3）护照原件

          Passport

（4）申请阶段提交的材料的原件

          Original documents submitted at every stage

3.学生报到后学习学校规定，并配合国家安全部门完成备案登记等手续。

    Upon arrival, students study the school regulations and cooperate with the national security authorities to complete procedures such as filing and registration.
